PG278QR needs replacing.

Hi i recently bought and Asus PG278QR second hand from CEX here in the UK.  However the Display Port is loose on the back of it.  Everytime i move the monitor or the cable the screen will go blank on it.  I know they'll replace it with their legendary 2 year warranty.  I just wanted to ask about the potential replacement i'll be getting for it.  The one i've found on their store is a TUF Gaming VG27WQ which is curved.  Are there any extra things i should be looking out for getting a curved monitor?

 With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!
