ssd not working

so I built my computer and installed some old ssd that a friend gave to me 120 gigs the drive is a ocz agility 3 and as far as I can tell was released in 2011 and had no data on it at all I have tried a different cable, a different port on my motherboard, and a different psu cable I think it is dead but if anyone has a helpful suggestion it would be appreciated.

I've had a very similar issue as you. I had a friend who gave me a 1tb external ssd after I changed her cars oil. But the ssd didn't work apparently it had a firmware issue or something because it was pulled from a laptop and installed in an external case anyways good luck I don't have any suggestions. And I'm no help just wanted to share my experience and waste some data.
