So first off I am not sure if this is the right place on the forum, or even the right forum at all. I have a Mace 80357 motion sensor and I have an idea but im not sure if it will work, since I have no background working with electronics. The motion sensor has a LED light that tells you whether it detects motion or not and I was wondering if I could set it up with some kind of wireless send/receive setup to send a signal to power a light somewhere like my room or office.

Thanks!

I googled that for ya, and that motion sensor is designed to work with a complete home security system with a central hub and all, so it probably won't work. Maybe you can hack it or something, but it will probably be difficult and not worth it.
