Hello, everyone:

In first place, I'm sorry if I'm posting this somewhere I shouldn't, I'm new. I bought a couple days ago a Xeon x3450 CPU, because I wanted to get better performance (I used to have a Core i5-660). The case is I installed It yesterday with the same stock cooling system that the i5 came with, and seemed to work just fine. But I noticed that It got way too hot (95°C), so I decided to install a tower cooling heatsink today. When I tried to turn on the computer, It didn't do anything at all, black screen. I pushed reset switch, and It worked, and showed BIOS screen. I saw the Manjaro GRUB and sighted, thinking It was working again. It showed the Windows logo trying to boot, and suddenly the screen got black. I noticed the CPU fan was way too slow, and the heatsink itself was boiling hot, so I turned It off as I could. I managed to get into BIOS, and It said the CPU was at -20°C (-68°F). So I'm here sitting thinking what may be happening while typing this.16495342471293016332040330483700.thumb.jpg.e07c9ccffabac66f97c15d8065017d64.jpg

Has anyone experienced this, or has any idea of what's up with It?
