PC sparked

I was talking on the phone and I definitely saw a spark come from the inside of my PC. I kinda looked like it came from the 8pin GPU cable where the cable attaches to the GPU. But it still had a video signal and nothing changed on screen. I pretty much immediately powered it off and flipped off the power supply. I don't really smell any thing and it doesn't look like anything is burnt but I haven't really disassembled anything other than the side panels yet. I don't really know what to do now. My PC specs: EVGA 750 B5 with a GTX 1070 SC and a R7 3700x with 16 gb 3600 mzh ram on a MSI b550 a pro mobo. And like 6 fans. I'm also using asiahorse cable extension

Those would go in the trash if this was my PC. They wouldn't have been used to begin with, honestly.

Hello! 
 

First, remove the cable attached to your GPU and battery and make sure all 8 pins look okay. 
 

After that, I recommend to get a volt checker and check all your pc components to make sure nothing is shorting out or having issues. 
 

If it does it again, remove the cables a temporary add new ones to see if that changes anything.

How sure are you that is wasn't a surface mounted LED that flashes when there is disc activity (or whatever else).
