(i dont know heaps about watercooling, so bare with me.)

i assume you use threaded fittings in the holes (G 1/4 BSP Threads), and connect the res to the pump then to the rest of your loop.

the top on the res  is, i assume a filling hole.

Firstly, that pump has had bad reviews regarding noise and reliability but it is your choice. When they say G1/4 connections they are refering to a standard size for the fittings which holds the tubw to the pump, reservoir and radiator in you loop. There are two types of fittings, barbs, which look like this http://www.frozencpu.com/products/15239/ex-tub-1213/Alphacool_G14_Thread_12_13mm_ID_FatBoy_Barb_-_Chrome.html?tl=g30c407s1030 and compressions which look like this http://www.frozencpu.com/products/15195/ex-tub-1187/Alphacool_Compression_Fitting_-_G_14_Thread_38_ID_x_12_OD_1310mm_-_Chrome.html?tl=g30c409s1032

You will need one fitting for each inlet/outlet of your loop/s. So, for a single loop you will need no less than six and for more complex loops you just keep adding two fittings per part, one for the inlet and one for the outlet. You will also need some tubing for the water to pass through the loop. Check the video the Dr Headbump posted and then watch the other parts for that same video and you will have a better idea of what is needed.

This seems like your first time water cooling so when you get started do it outside your case to leak test it for precautionary reasons. Hope you get through and post if you do or don't.
