When i power up my desktop it starts the startup procedure but 99% of the time it seems to get stuck. That remaining 1% it boots just fine and everything seems to work. When it fails to boot, the system powers on, the fans start running and the motherboard debug-led gets stuck on 24. But the keyboard, mouse and screen do not power on and do not seem to accept any inputs. And it's absolutely driving me nuts. I have done everything i can think of that could solve this problem:

  •  Removed individual components to check for damage
  •  Checked the PSU
  • Reset CMOS
  • Fresh windows install
  • Updated drivers

My specs are:

  • Windows 10 home 64-bit
  • MSI Z97-GAMING 5 (latest bios)

  • Intel i7-4790
  • Integrated Graphics (GTX970 died a while ago)
  • Kingston HyperX Fury Red 2x8GB DDR3-1866 CL10 Memory

  • CX650M — 650 Watt PSU

  • Crucial MX100 - 128GB SSD (Boot)

  • WD10EZEX-08M2NA0 - 1TB HDD (Storage)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My (admittedly limited) know-how has been exhausted.
