Hey guys just bought a Samsung tablet s8 and I seen there is a protect battery option which only charges it to 85%. Do you guys really think this helps it last longer if I game on it a bit?

Those battery options only really help if you're plugged in either constantly (so the common use case would be a kiosk or PoS system). Under normal usage, it's less of a concern.

Try to not have the battery to high or to low all the time, good is between 20%-80%. It's not that big of a deal if your battery is outside of that, but don't let it stay there for extended periods of time.
