Gpu hitting 96c

I have a very old system with a gt 730 but its actually a rebranded gt 430, and when playing roblox or cities skylines I saw it was hitting 92-96c even with the fan speed at 100% i already tried repasting the gpu and it helped a little bit but only with idle temps and temps in other games ive also taken side panels off and it still hits over 90c, whats even more confusing is my cpu (a8 3850)never goes above 50c while gaming and during a stress test has never gone above 57. im using manjaro btw

Turn everything in the games to their lowest possible resolutions and settings. That gpu isnt meant to be playing 3d games with any sort of performance in mind so its temp is 100% expected to be very poor

i hope the drivers are up to date if not it tends to mess with the temps. i will also recommend stopping all background tasks that may be running to reduce stress on the system. but i do agree with emosun the system isn't very capable of handling games of this age but everything down to low might help reduce load and inturn reduce temp

The temp is OK, they're meant to get that hot.  It's not ideal or anything but it'll work.

GPU fans could be slowly biting the dust, not sure if it's within your budget but that could be a place to start?
