I've been looking for a laptop for a while now, narrowed down my choices and ended up with two options within my budget:

- Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 14" 144Hz:

Ryzen 9 5900HS

16GB RAM (up to 24GB)

512GB SSD

RTX 3050

- Lenovo Legion 5 15,6" 165Hz:

Ryzen 5 5600H

16GB RAM (up to 32GB)

1024GB SSD

RTX 3060

What it comes down to is the difference in the CPU and GPU (storage, screen size and refresh rate doesn't really matter to me), and I can't decide if I should sacrifice a better CPU for a better GPU or vice versa. I'm not very tech savvy, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i have the same lenovo, its an amazing laptop, cooling if you place something under it to not block vent openings will be great.

Any game i played on max settings i had over 80+ fps(rdr2,kingdome come deliverence, chivalry 2).

Even warzone on max settings is over 100 fps.

I use external monitor and keyboard, but the laptops keyboard feels really nice.

It can be loud, but its pretty cool i never saw it over 70celsius while gaming so i am happy.

You have 2 ssd slots so you can always upgrade.

Monitors display is pretty dim but still not bad.

Always go for a better gpu if you are gaming.
