Definitly.

but it won’t be an issue.

at 1080p on GtaV, a 12900k would probably be a bottleneck.

A 3070 pushes absured 1080p frame rates on gta

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Less of an issue, since frame rates will be lower

Nah, you're fine. I would recommend getting a nicer CPU to give your PC more overall life (for AAA gaming), but there shouldn't be any significant problems with that configuration for GTA V

would 1440p be good to for pretty much all games with some settings down

Changing setting would affect the GPU horsepower needed, not CPU. There's not a lot of setting to adjust the CPU usage in game. It also would depend on what games you play. If you don't really play modern AAA games, the 5600X would be fine

It would struggle with games like any large multiplayer games due to the amount of moving bodies. That's all handled by the CPU. It would run but you might get a lot of frame stutters. Same with more modern AAA games, they tend to leverage more cores for smoother gameplay
