Moving from 80gb to 500

da na

Any way to directly clone an 80gb disk to a 500gb disk (but not make it only a 80gb partition, I want the full size)?

I want a larger and faster disk on my XP system, but I've already spent hours finding, installing, and configuring drivers and software. I'd rather not have to do that again.

(Can I literally just drag the files over after creating a boot partition?)

EaseUS Disk Copy? They offer a free trial, and if it's not good enough then there's a pretty good deal for it on Humble Bundle at the moment.

Macrium reflect works well in my experience, although being its an XP machine you would likely need to create a bootable disc and boot from it (make sure you select WinPE version 3.1 by clicking advanced under the rescue media builder windows as many XP machines do not have processors with the PAE/NX function meaning it wont boot anything windows 8 or later any by extension their windows pe forks)
