No peripherals other than the monitor are needed; I have already bought a mouse and keyboard. However, I am having trouble deciding which 1440p 144hz monitor specifically to buy. This will be my first build. I plan on buying a GPU as soon as I can get one at MSRP, I am either looking for a 3070 or 3080, preferably the white Rog Strix OC; then, I am going to buy the rest of the components. I want to play at 1440p 144hz. I really like the look of a white build, so that is what I was going for here. I wanted to reach out to see if this is a well balanced build, and to ask about two issues. Firstly, I know that there is no USB 3.2 Gen 2 header on my motherboard, which means the USB 3.2 Gen 2 on the front panel of the case wouldn’t work. I don’t know how much I would even use that, but I know of another white motherboard a bit above my price point, the Asus Prime X-570 Pro. Would this be better for my build, or am I better sticking with the current one. Secondly, for my storage, I know my current SSD is PCIE 3, and I’m not sure if I should spend a bit more to get PCIE 4.

I don't see any USB 3.2 Gen 2 (although I'm not confident that USB3.0 and 3.1 are better suited)

Oh, you probably mean USB-C...

You could always buy a cheap pcie card with an USB-C header if you ever need it
