Cpu usage high until i open task manager

My Acer laptop's fan has been running very loudly these past few weeks. When it gets too unbearable, I open Task Manager, only to find that my cpu usage lowers dramatically from 100% going as low to 13%.

I checked that the usage is high through a third party app.when i open task manager it goes low

Not enough info for a valid assumption. I can only guess; spyware that tasks your CPU or the laptop needs cleaning/repasting.

Windows likes to hit the CPU hard when you aren't using your device. I keep noticing the fan on my laptop wramp up high when I'm away from the laptop and only spotify is playing music but as soon as I open Task manager to check what is loading it so hard, nothing is there and the fan is able to wramp down again. Since opening Task manager is you using the computer from the perspective of Windows it cancels whatever background task it was running for you to have full CPU power again

Found this trojan. Windows defender continuously shows threats even after removing.

wacatac.b ml

Installed Malwarebytes and deleted some trojans found Hope this solves it.

If it keeps happening, just keep Task Manager open and leave your computer idle and look at what task consumes the most CPU power by sorting the tasks by CPU power
