Recently bought a new pc, Plugged in my ps3 camera microphone as it sounds good and my headphones are broken. Turns out i can't turn the volume down and all of my clips have saturated mic audio (game audio is great). This didn't happened on my old pc with win7 so the camera isn't a problem. Anyone had this problem?

I didnt know you could use that camera/Mic on a PC. After doing a bit of digging it seems it might be a driver issue. I see lots of people complaining that either the Mic will work with no Camera or the Camera will work with no Mic. Some of the threads are from 2020 and earlier however. If it were me Id try to uninstall the driver and reinstall the driver. If you can find both older and newer drivers and test them, that might be the best.

Bear in mind that while it technically can work with Windows, according to Sony, this is not a supported use case. So.... that means the drivers are not from Sony and that means someone cobbled something together to make it work.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
