Windows 10 Backup

So my friend wanted to update to windows 11 but is worried that something could go wrong in the installation process or he would want to downgrade to windows 10 so is there any good way he can backup the data on his laptop… Please help thanks!

First thing he'll need is some sort of external storage to back the data up to. External hard drives can be found pretty reasonably priced.

 

Second:

Control Panel > System and Security > Backup and Restore (Windows 7)

 

You can use this utility to back up an entire computer and create a system restore image.
