i think it would be overkill tbh, ill suggest you to upgrade cpu, mobo and if you want you should add 1 stick more of ram. if you really need to upgrade gpu (which yours is really good rn) you should buy a 3070/3070ti or it will bottleneck

It would be fine but when you start having hitching and framedrops in game know that it will most likely end up being the cpu and 8threaded cpu's are starting to become a problem for the newest games.
