BSOD, only when idle

ad1772

bsod only happens when the pc is idle, haven't seen it yet while gaming or while doing anything that puts the pc under load, bsod error codes are random, I've tried a different ram kit, tried reinstalling windows on a different ssd, tried reinstalling GPU and chipset drivers, also tried running driver verifier, but it just crashes the pc every few mins and blames a different driver each time, ive seen a few threads by people who had the same/similar problem and a lot of them fixed it by raising their cpu's voltage, but I haven't tried that because I don't know how to do it and im scared ill break something

My guess is CPU or MB voltage isn't stable either.

Changing voltage is very easy, just make little changes go into your BIOS and change Vcore from auto to a set value. So if it has say 1.2V, change it to 1.21V and save. Keep making little changes up to say 1.25V.

Systems today are built so that the system will pretty much never send it an unsafe voltage or way beyond what it needs (I.E. it won't let you send it 2V because that could just fry it)
