I am upgrading the primary storage on my Alienware m15R3 laptop, and was thinking of trying windows 11 in the process. There is low risk, because with moving to a new primary SSD, I still have my old one, and can just put it back in if needed.

According to the Upgrade Checker, my HW is not official supported but from what I have read it should not really matter.

My main question is, will the upgrade to 11 really be worth it? Will there be any performance gains, or just the pains of early adopting?

System Specs:
Intel i7-7700HQ

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 with 8GB

32 GB ram

If you have to ask, the answer is no. If you aren't looking for features specifically in 11 or are just always curious about the latest OS, there is no reason.
