Slow unstable Ethernet

Ever since I got Ethernet I have Been getting less than 10mbps download and upload speed and sometimes have to unplug and plug back in the cable just to get an upload at all while on all other devices I own I get roughly 200mbps does anyone have any solutions on how to fix this problem? 
 

p.s. sorry if I’ve posted this on the wrong forum it’s my first time here and I just really want this problem fixed

update Ethernet drivers, chipset drivers, if that don't help. try another port to one you know deliver 200mbit on your router/switch. try another ethernet cable. 

but do one thing and test before each time.

My first suspect is always the cable. Try another one, or try that cable on another device you know works properly.

If you mean devices using same network, the  check both cable and the network device on your PC. But if its whole network being issue, something is wrong in your router. Could be router in otherwise too, so if you have control over it, I would reset and do it again from scratch.
