I just built my first pc, but it doesn't show any display. The bios is updated, the cords seem to be in the right place and none of the troubleshooting leds are lit. I know the motherboard is at least working because the built-in leds Light up when i tuen on the power supply

Specs: asus tuf gaming b550m-plus motherboard is at least getting some power because the built-in leds are on and if i plug in my keyboard the leds in it come on.

AMD ryzen 5 5600g cpu

Nv1 1tb ssd

Kingston fury 16gb ram

Phanteks eclipse case

Are you saying when you push the power button nothing happens?
Like does the power button light up?

Yep, nothing happens when i press the power button

First thing I would check is remove the header wires that go from that button to your MB (should be near the front bottom area of MB)

Take a screw driver and short the PWR+ and pwr- pins. Might need a flashlight to see that.

Try a super CMOS clear while you are at it: Remove and power cable, then the battery and hold down the power button 1 minute

If that doesn't work then I would min config: Remove the power cable from the wall and remove 1 stick of ram, plug back in and try again.

Keep doing this procedure one part at a time until you get power, and make sure you even remove the fan connectors as they can short.

I don't think so

If clearing the CMOS and attempting a boot with minimal accessories (one DIMM, no storage, no GPU) doesn't work, you might need to do a BIOS flashback. You'll need a USB flash drive you don't mind erasing, and another PC to set it up with. Make sure you get exactly the BIOS file for your particular motherboard.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
