RTX 3050 not detected

I have got the Palit RTX 3050 stormx and installed it into my intel dh61cr motherboard with the most recent BIOS. The computer doesn't detect anything to be in the PCI slot. I am upgrading my card and have tried a 1650 super which worked instantly and the 3050 works fine in another machine. What should I do??
