So guys recently i got a stable oc of my fx 8320 at 4.5 ghz with 1.4625 v and veryting seems to work just fine, i did some stress tests while monitoring the temps and everything went well but when i m playing bf 4 , bf hardline, rocket league, cod mw 2019 everything runs perfectly , except bf 1.

this game stutters like hell and i tried so many forums and nothing worked for me, i don t know what to do anymore.

i activated the in-game net graph and the ping is fine, latency works fine as well but sometimes, for like 5 - 10 seconds the framerate drops suddenly to 5 - 10 fps and simultaneous the extra offset and down str are high as hell, than everyting goes back to normal again.it goes like this every 1 2 minutes.

i ll upload a pic with the in game graph down bellow.

my specs

amd fx 8320 black edition 4.5 ghz , 1.4625 v

cooler scythe kotetsu with 2 fans running at 1600 rpm offering quite good temps even when i was stress testing

asrock 970 pro3 r 2.0

2x2 gb ram stick + 4gb + 8 gb running on 1333 mhz ddr3

an overclocked gigabyte windforce gtx 750 ti 2gb (oc settings down bellow-tested & stable as well)

psu cooler master 500w

and a seagate hdd 1 terrabyte

Wow, brings back memories; I used to have an 8320 as well, years ago... Then the motherboard died :C

BF1, with updates, has become more and more poorly optimized; I used to have similar issues with my current i5, more like continuously inconsistent frame times. It's a heavily CPU-bound game, and although both of our CPUs are technically out-of-spec, when the game first came out it used to work perfectly fine. The open beta ran even more smoothly imo.

I solved by following these steps
https://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield_one/comments/5998hu/user_config_boosted_my_fps_dramatically_pc/

It basically consists of creating a custom config file that changes certain under-the-hood settings (that are somewhat self-explanatory, if you have in-depth knowledge of raster game engines). The post also suggests some game settings, though the core of the problem is fixed with the config file. I'd suggest to try this out, then let us know
