PC fan mounting new fans

ytakapower

Hi so I had a question. https://www.silentiumpc.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/spc283-spc-signum-sg1x-evo-tg-argb-manual-www.pdf

I want to buy extra case fans but I don't know how I should mount them. I already have the 4 including fans and a cpu fan. I want to buy 2 more for intake or outtake to put it on top. But I don't know what the best way it is to do it. Both intake or outake or intake and outtake?

Unless you convert to water cooling for the CPU and mount the radiator at the top, I would only bother with one extra fan. I would mount it as exhaust in the rearmost top slot,
I have run dual top fans in both exhaust and alternating on my air cooled setup and saw zero change in temperatures or any other change in performance. However the single top rear exhaust absolutely helps, mainly when lowering my CPU fan curves to make the system quieter.

You could mount a 240mm aio as an exhaust up there. Or if youre going with air cooling then do both fans exhaust. Keep in mind though that you want positive case pressure. So make sure your intake fans are always running faster than your exhaust fans
