Started experiencing this strange issue when upon starting a game I hear a noise from my PC. Initially I thought it could well be the mechanical HDD etc. spinning noise but then yesterday I opened the front panel and realised it's like a static noise and comes from the GPU area. Since there a few parts mounted very close to each other, I can't be 100% sure on the GPU since it could be the GPU, Motherboard, NVME drive or the PSU.

To troubleshoot I tried the following:

- Performed a CPU stress test. No noise

- Performed a GPU stree test. No noise

- Mem stress test. no noise.

- NVME drive stress test. no noise.

- Started a game, as soon as game play starts, noise returns.

- Whilst game is running, I then turned off/ muted audio devices but the noise is still there. Someone on a forum mentioned audio drivers can cause the issue.

Driving me literally insane this especially since I was about to sell the GPU and get a new one.

Anyone with any ideas to pin point this or suggeestion please?

For any other activity i.e. browsing, playing youtube videos or watching movies Netflix etc. there is no noise.

GPU: MSI 2060 Gaming Z

CPU: 2700x

MB: B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC

PSU: Corsair RMx750

Memory: Corsair Vengeance
