Hello, Basically I've been having a micro stuttering issue for over a year and some change now and its hand in hand with GPU Usage drops, Im in the military so recently didn't need to tend to it, and also the games I was playing which can run on a toaster such as league of legends run fine. However I just got Dying Light 2 and notice this mico stutter very much as well as in RD2 which I was playing recently, my computer can handle these games no doubt, here are the spec. Operating System Windows 10 Home 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 8700K @ 3.70GHz 33 °C Coffee Lake 14nm Technology RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1599MHz (15-16-16-35) Motherboard ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING (LGA1151) 31 °C Graphics VG248 (1920x1080@144Hz) GN246HL (1920x1080@60Hz) 3071MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (PNY) 58 °C Storage 3726GB Seagate ST4000DM004-2CV104 (SATA ) 31 °C 232GB Samsung SSD 960 EVO 250GB (Unknown (SSD)) Optical Drives No optical disk drives detected Audio NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM) Now to put it out there, I tried to remedy this issue before back when Fornite was huge and I had it in that game. I've tried just about everything. Messing with every setting in game, in NVIDIA, uninstalling reinstalling different drivers, or even resetting my PC and getting a new M.2 SSD. So as far as messing with basic settings within every program that has to do with GPU, I've tried it. I have heard some relate this to a RAM issue, however, I'm pretty knowledgeable around computers but haven't gotten into the guts of RAM and understanding how that could be the issue, I read a thread saying it could be the Standby Usage or something. Anyways, I really wanna solve this once and for all, I appreciate any help I can get, and I'm more than willing to run any tests or give any info needed. Much love. Also the micro stuttering does happen when GPU usage plummets. Note: I know my way around a computer but if you need me to do something fancy you'll have to explain how, or just send me a tutorial and I'll figure it out. Hey man, Ive had a similar situation 2 years ago with microstutters. No matter what I did in games it'd freeze for a sec and then go back up to 100+ fps which didnt make sense. I tried everything just like you did until I got fed up and just decided to see if a new motherboard would fix it. Fortnite was the main game I would experience these stutters in a few years ago and I havent had any kind of issue since changing the board. To my surprise, the microstutters stopped after changing the motherboard. You could possibly get a motherboard off amazon, test it, then return it if it doesnt fix the issue. But I've dealt with this similar situation and changing the motherboard helped me. Also, do the microstutters keep happening even with ram slots altered? If you have a bad slot it can slow it down a lot which can cause those stutters. Maybe try running off of 1 stick or in a different slot, etc. Different combos. But yeah, just giving my input on what helped me.

Yeah man I can try that, I have tried it before and didn't seem to do anything, my best two options were going to be either replace RAM for a start or replace the motherboard after if that didn't do anything.
