Dedicated GPU memory usage question plz help.

I just bought a Evga GTX 1080 Ti SC2, 11GB Dedicated gpu memory.

When i play game it never use it all, in fact it's stock around 8GB. 

In task manager you see it really got 11GB but never go higher, in MSI afterburn you see the max at 8059 MB.

So how can i use it all ?

I game in 1080P everything Ultra but, i want optimiez and go to 1440.

Even my pc ram usage seem to be jam at 16868 in after burn but i got 32.

 

If someone can explain and help me use it all it would be really nice

Its because the game you are running does not need to utilize all 11G of vram. Higher resolution will increase vram usage to an extent, but it significantly depends on the game engine.

These are just the default max values in afterburner, you can change them in the monitoring menu. As for actually using all the VRAM, most games simply wont saturate that much memory, as most graphics cards only have 4 or 8 gigabytes.

Afterburner has a relative min and max for most of its monitoring. If OP were to hit 90GB of vram usage, it would say 90G as max.

OP is simply not using more than 16Gs of RAM and 8Gs of VRAM for what they are doing.

So the game i play in 1080P just dont need it, nice thank's 

I dont see the option du change de max values in afterburn monitoring menu. Anyway thank's guys.
