You don't need to re-install. You can use the command line to install a desktop environment. But that requires some Linux know-how. As I said CentOS isn't really targeted at desktop users. If you want that, it's probably easier to go with Fedora or Ubuntu.

There are also multiple desktop environments (DE) to choose from, like Gnome and KDE. So the first thing you'd need to know is which one you want to go with. One possible solution would be Gnome. Here's some instruction on how to install that on CentOS 7:

You're using the command line interface. What are you trying to accomplish?

Minimum version most likely means you only have a command line interface (CLI). CentOS is primarily aimed at servers, so if you don't know what you're doing and you've never used Linux before, you should most likely go with something else. RedHat's desktop OS would be Fedora, but for a beginner something like Ubuntu is the more typical recommendation.

Since you installed the minimum version, you most likely don't have a desktop installed to begin with. Go with a distribution that is targeted at desktop users. CentOS is more typically used on servers that don't need a desktop.

You can either reinstall the OS or install the Gnome desktop package group since this is a laptop.  The Server with a GUI adds tools you won’t need.  If you can go to CentOS Stream 8 or better 9 you’ll have better luck with Software availability thanks to Flatpak or use Fedora.

to install the gnome package group the command should look like yum group install ‘Gnome Desktop’.
