Question About SoundBlaster X3

Does anyone know if the line-in port works with mini-TOSLINK?

 

My TV doesn't have a headphone jack, but it does have an Optical Audio Out. From what I've been told, I'd need to plug that into a Line In/Optical In port, but I see only an Optical Out on the X3.

I don't believe so, a toslink connection is optical and the only line in on the X3 is analogue.

 

I believe that the G6 has an optical in using a 1/8" plug so you might want to look into that.

 

*Also you can look into the Schiit Fulla E which has optical input
