Intel GPU
Are you saying you want LTT to test if the Intel GPU will perform worse when coupled with an AMD CPU than if it was paired with an Intel CPU?
Of course running an Intel GPU with an AMD CPU will work. Why wouldn't it?
As for performance, we already know there will be some scenarios where an Intel CPU paired with an Intel GPU will perform better than an AMD CPU paired with an Intel GPU. To be more specific, Intel have already stated that in scenario workloads, an Intel dGPU will be able to offload work to an Intel iGPU if it is present. In such scenarios (which can only happen if you got an Intel CPU with an iGPU, and an Intel dGPU) it will most likely perform slightly better than in a system with just the Intel dGPU.
It will probably not matter for gaming though. Pretty sure the scenario Intel mention were video encoding.
If you want a test where they compare an Intel dGPU coupled with an Intel CPU (without an iGPU) would perform better than if it was coupled with an AMD CPU then I don't see the point. GPUs don't check which brand of CPU you got and tune performance for it. The GPU doesn't care which CPU you got. If the Intel GPU performs better on one platform than another then it's because the platform is better, not because of the brand sticker on the box.
