I just ordered all the parts to a PC and I need a headset to go along with it. I have about $40 US to spend and I need a built in mic and cable spilter. I am kind of set on the HS35 from Corsair as my keyboard and mouse are both corsair and I know they make good quality products. If anyone has any other recommendations or wants to steer me clear of this headset for any reason I am open. Thanks in advance.

Thanks but Im not looking to throw money away. I know the hs35 will last me a fair bit and if its only gonna last 6 months its actually stupid to buy a turtle beach.

Looked used. Not sure what area you're in but it's definitely worth looking. I'm always seeing steal of a deal on headset's on offer up. Lots of hyperx and Sennheiser headsets where I'm at. Saw a PC 38x for $80. A few weeks ago. Thought about getting it but honestly don't have a need for it. I did buy a Cloud Alpha last year for $50 new in box. I know you said $40. Those two examples I put where just to show you can score good deals on used gear.

PC Audio Setup = Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 80 ohm and Sennheiser pc37x (also for xbox) hooked up to Schiit Fulla 3
