Internet keeps dropping out

So my mom works from home and every day when she turns on her work laptop the internet to everything in the house drops out and this constantly happens about every 20 minutes throughout the day until she is done working and then the wifi goes back to normal again. I know that something on her laptop has to be the cause of this issue because it only happens when she is using this laptop. I've researched into this issue and cant seem to find anything helpful as to what could be causing this on her laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

maybe its updating the windows or Microsoft apps in Microsoft store

use a remote monitoring app on her laptop and check see what's eating the network bandwidth

The fact that it's a work laptop (depending on the level of draconian IT she has) means there's probably little that can be done on a software side without their approval. Updating wifi drivers is good first step. I've heard of certain cheap wifi cards exhibiting that behavior because of bad firmware, so replacing the card (which is trivial) is another option.

BUT DON'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT IT APPROVAL.

i thought maybe its her laptop and she just use it to work

that's the case for my parents

Have you tried restarting the router, modem, etc? Also, have you tried connecting something wired and see if continues working?
