Do you have a Budget aswell?

My personal Suggestion would be the ASUS G14/G15, which can be as low as $1,000 to as high as $1,500. G14 is lighter, and less "Gamery" in aesthetics. I have been using this in my University Life for 8 months now, its the best laptop I have ever owned.

I myself as a G14 owner agree with the above statement. For your workload buy a 2020 or the 2021 if you want 100w pd charging (2020 supports 65) with a 1660 or a 3060. (Don't cheap out for a 3050 if drops your performance by 40% for a 100 usd)

I have an ASUS G14 2021 with Manjaro KDE and I am a professional Linux NoOB and also pretty bad at General Computing.
