Build log - First ever custom loop
2 minutes ago, Agamemnian said:Budget (including currency): Way too much

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming - this is going to be way more than I need
So I got made redundant which sucks but I decided what better way to make myself feel better than drop a stupid amount of cash.
The first parts arrived over the last couple of days.
Specs will be:
Intel Core i7 12700k
Nvidia RTX 3080
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 Vengeance RGB RT Gunmetal 3600Mhz CAS 16
ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 ATX
Sabrent 2TB Rocket NVMe PCIe 4.0 Solid State Drive
Corsair RM1000x 1000W Modular 80+ Gold PSU
Lian-Li O11 Dymanic Evo Black
Mix of Corsair QL120s and LL120s
Corsair Commander Pro
Corsair Commander Pro Extension Kit
Custom Loop
Corsair XC8 J2C edition CPU block (super happy i got one of these)
Corsair XD5 pump/res combo
Corsair XG7 GPU block
2 x Corsair XR5 360mm radiators
Various hardline fittings and tubing
Corsair XL5 clear (Thinking I'll start clear and add dye if I think it needs something else)
This is going to be my first ever custom loop so am expecting to make a mess of a few things, but hey, its how we learn right.
Should get most of the rest of it delivered tomorrow and then I can get cracking on getting it all together.
I'm thinking with the case I'm gonna have 3 of the QL120s on the bottom of the case set to intake, one of the rads on the top with the LL120s set to exhaust but I'm not 100% decided on the second rad location yet.
Not sure if I should order the mesh front and put the rad on the font of the case or leave the case stock. At the moment I'm leaning more to having the rad on the vertcal bracket on the back wall in an intake config.
this forum is for seeking advice with planning out a build, whereas it honestly seems more like you just came here to flaunt cash, you literally said 3 or 4 times how it costs "way too much"
Please post this and your future logs in Build Logs instead of here
