Need help with Battlefield

Sometimes if I don’t play 2042 for a few days when I launch it I have to go through the game like I’ve never played and it resets every single setting. I have the game on origin and am on windows 10. Can anyone help? (I also could not find anything online or on YouTube. The only thing I found was 2 other people with the problem and no answer)
