Hi all need some help. I bought a new cpu and mobo

12900k

Msi z690 edge wifi ddr4

Kept my Kingston hyperfury 3200mhz 4x8gb sticks.

Been getting this error at a green screen on win 11

 kernel_security_check_failure

After testing everything nothing g showed up until I ran memtest86

Within an hour still on the first pass at the time of writing it's come up with over 400 errors.

I know it isn't the cpu or motherboard. Obviously it's the ram

But is there anyway this can be fixed without just getting new ram.

I'm going to be repair installing win 11 and rerunning the test tomorrow to see if that changes anything.

Beyond that if it doesn't work I guess it's time for new ram.

Any recommendations would help rather not buy new ram but will if Obviously necessary

This is not the first time I’ve heard of people seeing massive numbers of memory errors using memory testing on 12th gen.  Previous on the person used a Linux and the memory tester included with the distro they had and saw it there too.  I don’t know what the deal is though.  Might of course just be two instances of bad memory sticks.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
