Cooler Help!

I recently picked up the ROG ryujin 2 360mm cooler for my pc build, the reviewers online say it’s a really good one to cool the 12900k. However many people online are saying the armory crate software is terrible on your pc and will severely impact performance on your pc by 10%. I’m currently building my new 12900k computer with the motherboard being z690 ROG Maximus Extreme and the case fans all being the QL Corsair 120s. If I have to return the cooler it’ll take 10 days for me to get a different company one and I’ll have to stall the build. Is the Asus armory crate software really that bad? Will it install a lot of bloatware? I really want to make use of the LCD on my motherboard and the cooler but I don’t know what to do. Please help!

you can turn off armory crate's background usage and the screen and everything still runs
