Im trying to upgrade my old pc but I don't know what I should be looking for gaming performance

Shlepping

Budget (including currency): currently around 500 but more likely 750

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Halo,Minecraft(mods and stuff), COD etc.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I have a asus rog strix 1070ti, an i5 8600k intel processor and 16gb of ram. I want to be able to run games on higher graphics and better frame rates, but I don't know whether I should upgrade one, or all of these components. running at high settings consistent 60 frames is ideal, but I don't have an insane amount of money to blow. Thanks!

Your GPU is the one holding you back the most - but at this point in time I wouldnt be wasting the energy to try and find one.

If you REEEAAALLY want to upgrade something right now, go for your cpu motherboard and maybe memory
