How to setup a newly installed internal hard drive - Facing some issues with recognizing the device

The internal hard drive that I installed in my laptop seems to have some issues. When I try to initialize the disk a error message "A device which does not exist was specified" showed up. After doing same basic googling, I tried uninstalling the driver and restarting my pc, it worked temporarily but I still wasn't able to initialize as a new error message something about I/O showed up. I don't really know what's happening.
