I was looking into getting a new gaming monitor and was wondering what panel type I should get. I noticed that there are 3 different types and was confused which one was better. I usually play FPS games like Call of Duty Warzone. I wanted to get a 1440p 144hz monitor and the two that I was looking at was the Gigabyte M27q and the Gigabyte G32qc a.

I strongly prefer M27Q.

As for panel types it really depends, but nowadays IPS is preferred panel for average gamers.
IPS is best suited for FPS games and anything require colour accuracy such as graphics design.
VA can also work for games although more suited for casual genres. It is best on dark environment genres like horror games due to its superior contrast ratio.
TN, well although IMO no one should buy TN panels today it still has its place for super competitive esports games.

Honestly, the main difference is that you should choose IPS when you don't look directly at the screen most of the time. The VA usually looks somewhat better compared to IPS, but only at the perfect angle. Thankfully, as it is curved, you probably won't even notice the difference in viewing angles.
The 32" to 27" is the biggest difference otherwise. 1440p should be alright honestly even in larger displays. You can imagine it as if you still had a 24" 1080p one because the PPI is really close.
Btw, even though they are FreeSync compatible, according to the Nvidia website for "G-Sync compatible" neither of the monitors will work.

I would choose the 32", but I think youll be happy with either.

And btw I strongly agree that no one should really buy a TN panel in 2021.
