I installed a HydroX system this summer that is only cooling my CPU (2700X).
In Cinebench multicore the temperatures maxed out at around 68-70°C.

Now it’s around 81°C with the pump and fans on max speed.
I just put a bit more coolant in the system because the fins in the pump generated some air bubbles that then got fired trough the whole system.
Also I noticed a wining noise today when the pump went under 1800rpm. This noise got really loud at some point.

Is that a issue that can get solved with repasting? And is it normal that the pump starts wining at low speeds?

The pump is a XD3 and the rad is a 360mm XR5. The fans on the radiator are the SP120 that came with the kit.

u can try upping your pump rpm & using SL120 / Al120 fans

afaik sp120 static pressure is not really that good
