I’m building a new pc 

i5 12600k

ASUS prime z690m plus lga 1700 micro atx

gtx 780 ti (already own)

2x8 Corsair vengeance lpx ddr4 

Evga 500 watt psu (already own)

Dell optiplex case (already checked compadability)

 

I’ll take any advice to change parts

 

Note I don’t want to change cases

Budget limitation? The RAM and PSU is a really high point of contention for me, i would go for a 550W from a more reliable unit and brand and a 16GB kits outside of Vengeance LPX and RGB due to their shitpit of RAM binning.

What model PSU?

What model Optiplex case?

 

How do you plan to cool the cpu?

Pcpartpicker lists 7 EVGA 500W PSU models. I'm not sure I would want to reuse any one of them.

 

Have you verified that the GPU will fit?

 

What cooling solution do you plan to use on the cpu?

yes it fits

 

and coolermaster says the t20 has LGA 1700 mounting hardware

I doubt the T20 will allow the i5-12600K to operate anywhere near its potential.

Im sorry for the superbly late response and sorry to mods for necroing this post, ive been busy communicating in aiming and keyboard communities and i almost forgot about my account here.

 

Anyway, Corsair's RAM chip binnings have been pretty much horrible compared to other brands, and that makes it hard to clock even just at XMP on certain CPU. And their RMA rate also throws me off, i find more dead, needed to RMA system with vengeance than ones that lives.
