Minecraft Internal Error Issues

Hey all,

 

My friend has recently purchased a realm and I logged on for the first time in a few days. Previously I had been playing with no issues. However, i have recently updated my wifi modem and router and now I'm getting strange error messages every couple minutes when I play. 

 

I have been googling for roughly 3 hours now trying to resolve the issue.

I have already unplugged and reconnected my router.

 

So far the only conclusion I have come up to is that my wifi connection is not strong/ stable enough and I need to switch to ethernet.

 

If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I want to enjoy my winter break!
