Please help!

Ok guys, i am not new to this forum i didnt log on for 7 months so i created a new acc. My Razer Electras are still lasting for a bit over a year. ;/ But i think that my plug is broken because when i turn it or like ,but my hand on the plug the sound is terrible and changes from loud to silent. (May be the headset from around 15 drops from 2ft).How could i tell if its the plug or the headset themselves?

 

 

 

And i'd like suggestions for wireless headset/headphones (Because wires are the major problem for me)
