Android Music Problem

So far I've managed to get all my music off my CDs and put them in a folder on my computer and I've managed to sync them to /sdcard1/Music/ on my phone with BitTorrent Sync. Now when I open any music player app it only shows the default music that was on the phone to start off with but none of it is playable because I deleted all the example songs. It can't seem to find my music at all.

 

What can I do to fix this? The apps appear to be pointed to the correct folder...

OK, it seems that BitTorrent Sync is acting a bit weird, I've managed to get rid of the default music (by plugging my phone into my pc and deleting them) but the music is not syncing properly from my computer. The files show up on the phone in the file viewer as they should but when I plug in the phone to the pc and browse, there are no music files on it. WTF? Does BitTorrent Sync just not work properly?
