Just noticed that new egg has expanded to Australia, and I am wondering if it is a good idea to purchase components through new egg and save a couple hundred dollars.

Yes I know there are shipping fees but I would still save quiet a lot of money.

Does this seem like a good idea?

Thanks in advance

Have you ever purchased from new egg. If so have you ever had problems with them.

I really think this might be the way to go.

I've bought plenty of stuff from newegg through myus.com , never had any issues.

From what I've seen they won't ship a lot of their products here so good luck getting a full build from there.

I was only talking about the CPU, motherboard and RAM. The rest I will purchase from within Australia.
