Specs

CPU: Intel Core i5-10400

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z590 UDAC

Ram: Adata XPG Spectrix D60g 3200mhz (2x8gb)

GPU: Sapphire RX580 4gb

PSU: Coolermaster MWE 750 gold V2

Storage:

1 NVME PCIE M.2 512gb SSD

1 2.5 inch SATA 500gb SSD
1 2.5 inch SATA 500gb Hardrive

Hiii so I have built a new PC last week and it worked for about a week. But this morning when I powered it on, only the RGB on my ram turned on. The other RGB fans in the system did not turn on or spin. The boot LEDs would not light up at all and the AIO Pump would not turn on at all. I have tried a lot of steps including resetting the CMOS, but as long as the GPU is in the system it would not boot. But the moment I remove my GPU and use the IGPU, the system would boot just fine, all my fans would spin, the drives would be detected and all. I have no idea what is the issue but I just cannot get the system to boot with the GPU installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

If the PC doesn't boot at all either the PSU is borked and can't supply enough wattage/voltage or the GPU is borked. Hopefully you can still RMA

Hi, thank you for your help, however I think it is pretty unlikely doe since the PSU is a 750 watts PSU and it works just fine with the IGPU, but I agree that the GPU may be borked. Unfortunately I got both the GPU and PSU used sooo RMAing it does not seem like an option. But I will see if I can get an old GPU or a GPU from a friend to test it in my system to confirm that my GPU is borked. Thank so much doe, really appreciate it!

Also if it were to be the GPU, by any chance do you have any idea why it would suddenly die. Also, by any chance could it also be a motherboard issue?

I doubt it a motherboard issue. As to why it died it could be for any number of reasons one might be your power went out in the middle of the night and killed it.

Ah ic, thanks so much for the help! It is such a pity that the card is dead, especially during this period
