Book for Electronic and Robotic shtuff

Hi,

recently I've sparked an interest in electronics and robotics. I don't have much background on the topic but I'd love to learn.

I'm looking for a book or website that will teach me some stuff about this. I'm getting a raspberry pi in a few days, so I'd like to learn some things that will help my do cool things on the pi (but not limited to the raspberry pi).

Well for DIY projects, I'd recommend The Evil Genius series: MECHATRONICS STYLE

Once you delve into the world of robotics, you'll never come back!    Expensive hobby for sure, but it rewards you. There are a couple of forums I know, but activity is very low. The hobby robotics community is very small, and no new innovations have been made lately. PM me if you want more info.
