vram defect?

Metehan

Hello guys I bought recently a XFX Radeon RX 6900 XT Black Limited Edition and everything was fine until I installed GOG Galaxy and Cyberpunk. The game has crashed, this happened and after closing crashed game, these things disappeared and I could keep using my PC normally. What do you mean, is my vram broken? I did some research and found some threads about GOG keeps crashing games, can that cause something like that? I am confused. After that I bought the game on Steam again..... played for 10 hours without issues. I also switched the bios from gpu.

My Setup

XFX Radeon RX 6900 XT Black Limited Edition

AMD Ryzen 9 5900x

32GB Ram 3200mhz

MSI x470 Gaming AC M7

Seasonic Prime Gold 1300W

Windows 11

I forgot one information, all bios are updated to current version. I never had something like that and it's scaring me so much. Should I play again and if it's not happen again while playing through Steam, that means my gpu is fine?

I think HWiNFO can show memory error for Radeon GPU. Try play games while its running.

A window is popping up or do I have look for some specific? How do I identify this?

Check Sensors only and find GPU Memory Errors

Oh ok, thank you! Yesterday I played whole day with higher settings and so on without any issues. Today I will do it again and I know now where I should look xD But if it wasn't hardware/gpu/vram issue, why did this crash effect both monitors? I guess a difficult question.
