I find that my DayZ Standalone experience hasn't been the greatest thus far. Every server I have been on I play for about 30 seconds until I get the broken red link symbol, think it means I have lost connection to the server. Anyway, I try to keep playing, occasionally able to move stuff in my inventory and hold something in my hand. When in the server browser, I set the maximum ping to 50, but still this does not help. I find that even if I get onto servers with extremely low ping's on the server browser, it still lags the f*ck out. Anyway, anyone know if how this could be fixed?

All my other multiplayer games work fine, it's just DayZ.

Cheers & Best Regards,

Arcapse

All my friends were disappointed with the stand alone, so i didn't bother getting it.

The de-sync chains mean nothing, the most you can do is make sure you have a stable internet connection and are connected to a low-ping reputable server like ones hosted by MultiplayerGameservers.com.  They should mostly be fine, if you're still having trouble then make sure it isn't that you just have extremely low fps.

I get the red chain but it never actually made a difference to me. Just carried on playing.
